Mystic Dungeon v1.5 update


Changes

The map generation has been changed. Here is a gif of maps made with the new map generation system - 

I feel like the new map generation allows for tighter and more maze-like maps which aligns closer to my vision for the game.

For comparison, here is a gif of some maps generated with the old system -

I believe that this is too empty and spacious.


A new enemy (mothman inspired) has also been added.



I have also made the following balancing changes:

  • The amount of current health gained from health pickups has been increased. (no changes to the max health gained)
  • Enemies gain less health each floor.
  • Enemies gain less power each floor.
